The law firm of Pease and Gustafson, LLP implemented some exciting changes in 2016. While continuing to provide quality legal representation in a variety of fields, the firm seized upon several opportunities to grow. In October, the firm opened a branch office located at 71 Market Street in Potsdam. The addition of the Potsdam office demonstrates the firm’s continued dedication to client service by permitting greater convenience for individuals and businesses located near the county seat.
Pease and Gustafson also hired an associate, Daniel C. Ramsey, to join their growing legal team. Dan comes to the firm from the St. Lawrence County Public Defender’s Office with experience in criminal and family law matters. Dan appreciates the opportunity to contribute to a successful, well-established firm that requires diligence and displays competence. “I’m immensely excited to join a team that values mentorship, professionalism, and a client-centered approach to representation. It’s clear that the firm cares about working hard to achieve results for clients. That’s what I became an attorney to do,” he said.
Pease and Gustafson continues to provide effective representation to a wide variety of clients throughout the North Country. At present, the firm employs five attorneys and six legal assistants. Specific areas of practice include: real estate; business law; municipal law; bankruptcy (on behalf of creditors); foreclosures (on behalf of creditors); estates and estate planning; guardianships; adoptions; criminal law; and certain family law matters. All members of the firm are optimistic about its continued expansion and look forward to redoubling their efforts to provide exemplary client service.
